The two Indian superstars who were lucky enough to be seen on the global event like COVID-19 Relief Concert include Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. They have joined the event called“One World: Together at Home” posed by Lady Gaga for celebrating the fight of healthcare workers against the pandemic. They seemed to have come together for the event to urge people to stay at home while the healthcare warriors have waged the war against the same.
As per reports, more than 70 celebs and artists seemed to have joined the concert for honoring the frontline workers called The Virtual Concert, which was organised by the global health body called WHO and Global Citizen this Saturday. The event was hosted by none other than the top stars like Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon. It also had several performances and appearances from stars like Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder to name a few.
SRK while talking on the event said India along with other nations are delving in the plight as faced by the people. He said with a huge population of more than a billion, the country has added strength to the fight against COVID 19 and thus has together helped the world to put the impact against the virus. On the other side, Pee Cee was seen saying that she has a fair understanding about the overcrowded and unlivable conditions in the refugee camps. The event also had people like Chris Martin, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez and Kacey Musgraves.
