Ganapath: Kriti Sanon Talks about on Injuries Incurred During Nunchuck Training for Her Role

Actress Kriti Sanon, who recently won the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in Mimi, has opened up about her upcoming film Ganapath. In the film, Sanon performs a number of action sequences, and she revealed that she was badly hurt while filming some of them.

“It was not easy,” Sanon said in an interview. “I had ripped and hurt myself a lot on my head and elbow everywhere.” She added that she had to practice for months to learn how to use the nunchucks, and that she even got herself injured while practicing.

However, Sanon said that she enjoyed the challenge of performing the action sequences in Ganapath. “It was nice to be finally practicing until you really get it, and then you see it on the screen come alive,” she said. “So I would really love to do a lot more action.”

Kriti Sanon looked stunning in a white short-sleeved dress and thigh-high boots as she promoted her upcoming film Ganapath in Delhi with co-star Tiger Shroff on Wednesday.

The actress was recently awarded the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in Mimi. She will next be seen in Ganapath, a sci-fi action film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film also stars Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan and is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 23, 2023.

Ganapath is a highly anticipated upcoming film that marks Hindi cinema’s foray into the realm of cyberpunk-styled sci-fi. While the concept of a chosen one liberating people from an oppressor is an age-old story, Ganapath sets it in a dystopian Blade Runner-style world with a bleak texture, while retaining Bollywood’s signature colorful aesthetic.

This unique blend of genres and styles is what makes Ganapath so exciting. The film promises to deliver a visually stunning and action-packed experience, while also exploring complex themes such as oppression, liberation, and the human condition.
