Here’s what Kiara Advani said about the character Suku
While throwing light on her character and how she prepared for it, the actress said, “Suku was a fresh character for me and something different which I never played on screen. She has a specific style of speaking and walking. I had to understand every detail. But I wasn’t alone and Shashank was there to guide me. Suku speaks very fast and with a pacific articulate. She is a Maharashtrian girl so I had to select words that taste better according to the language and can be included easily.”
She further added, “Suku is also a background dancer and therefore a specific body language is associated with her. Her style, how she sits, walks and behaves all the time, and every minute details form an important part to make Suku. I give the entire credit to Shashank and thank him as he sat with me and researched a lot./ He even hired a language and dialect coach for me to understand the language properly and pull off the character right.”
Govinda Naam Mera, made under the direction of Shashank Khaitan, is a film about a strange murder mystery. Starring Vicky, Kiara and Bhumi in lead roles, it is ready to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 16, 2022.
