OMG: Shahid Kapoor now wants a new trailer for Padmavati trailer from the makers
If you check the last trailer of the film Padmavati releasing a few days before, it seemed covering more about the character of the queen Padmavati with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in his character of the Delhi Sultan called Alauddin Khilji. The fact is he has impressed with his incredible performance while playing the menacing ruler from Delhi that has kept everyone in awe in the actor. But if you check the recent reports in the media, Shahid Kapoor was seen playing the character of Rani Padmavati called Raja Rawal Singh to slash down the separate trailer over his onscreen role. Yes, you heard it right, he wants a new trailer for himself.
If you check the recent reports, the actor Shahid Kapoor who is playing the character of the King of Chittor is seen playing the character of Rani Padmavati’s husband called Raja Rawal Ratan Singh now has asked the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to come out with a special trailer to be made on him. It seems that the actor has been overshadowed by his co-star, Ranveer Singh and even in the posters you can see him dominated that has made Shahid Kapoor a bit insecure about it.
Before Sanjay Leela Bhansali was seen choosing Shahid Kapoor he had even approached the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Shah Rukh Khan for the same role, however, the two declined the same. Apparently, Shahid Kapoor had agreed to play the character on the assurance that he would be paid equally as Ranveer has demanded that is around 8 crores. Perhaps his initial demand was accepted by the director, however, with the second demand to come out of a trailer exclusively based on the Shahid Kapoor’s character seems to be amusing thing. Well, let’s see how things go on, while the movie is all set to hit the screens on 1st December 2017.
