First Day Box Office Collection of Golmal Again
This Diwali, we have two movies releasing, which certainly include the Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again. The film enjoys a decent buzz in the media, thanks to the decent amount of promotion taking place for it. The combo of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty has been incredible and has given a number of hit earlier which has somewhere raised the expectations of the people and the makers as well. Though the film has failed to get a decent amount of screens but the buzz for the film seems to be intense and decent that can translate into a decent collection on the first day and the first weekend as well.
The tickets though were released online for advance booking but it seemed limited which soon ran off making the fans disappointed that also speaks a lot about the buzz of the film in the media. So, with such a good response on getting the tickets sold out within hours, the trade analysts had predicted a decent collection on the first day. The film has released in around 3500 screens all across the India. As per reports the film witnessed around 60 percent occupancy, which escalated high to a figure closing to 100 percent at most of the places.
As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for Golmaal Again tolled to around 18.5 crores, which is certainly a good figure. Considering the Friday to be of Diwali with no Puja attached on this day, hence collection reaching to such an extent was expected. The film has hampered the collection of Aamir Khan starrer movie to some extent, which also recorded similar figures at the box office on the second day. The competition for both the films will go hand and hand and hope so this time Ajay do not have to lose his temper or hamper his relationship with the makers of the rival movie.
