Nakuul Mehta is one of the finest actors in the television industry and there is no doubt about it. He has been a part of many shows and has become a household name, he is currently a part of Ekta Kapoor’s show Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2. In the show, he is accompanied by Disha Parmar. However, there is bad news for his fans Nakuul has confirmed that he is quitting the show after a year and a half.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Nakuul Mehta said that the show has received a lot of love, although that was the message to people when they started because they took an iconic show and made it again. But to travel for it and get people to recognize that star the way it is, he thinks has been really special. He further said that he felt creatively filled for so long and that he would miss playing the role of Ram.
Nakuul Mehta said why he does not do more shows
Nakuul, who has done 3 TV shows in his career of 10 years, approached that after his last TV show Ishqbaaz, he got tired and took a break of 4 years without any reason. Saying why he doesn’t do more shows he says, “Once an audience buys into you for playing a Shivay or Ram, I feel it’s an injustice to take up another character in two months and say, ‘Now accept me as this (character)’. Now I work for credibility and respect.”
Fans are definitely going to be very sad with this news because even though the actor has done only 3 shows, he has created a lick in the hearts of the audience.
