OMG: Maanvi Gagroo Was Asked to “Compromise” To Get A Role In A Web-Series
Maanvi Gagroo is a known face now in web series. Thanks to her incredible performances in web series like Four More Shots Please! and TVF Tripling. While sharing an experience of getting work on the OTT based ventures, she said that she was asked to compromise to get the role in a web series. Yes, you heard it right, in her interview to a Bollywood portal, she said that she got a call from an unknown number in 2019 giving a role in a web series.
When she denied to accept it due to the budget issue, but then she asked him to share the script and other details to which he denied. Later he said he is ready to offer three times what he is currently offering the actress but at one condition that she has to compromise for the role. She further said that she was upset with the phone call. She said it is sorry to hear that how things function in the industry in the #MeToo era.
She then thrashed the man calling her and even abused him stating that she would complain about him to the police. She said that she was so much baffled as to how things have happened. Talking about her work, she has become a household name now with her work in web series like TVF Pitchers and Four More Shots Please along with Made In Heaven.
