Meet another intern in the college called Shiuli played by Banita Sandhu from the same hotel. She is at times seen at the receiving end of Dan’s audaciousness. Soon their life meet love and their emotional connection is so strong that it passes through the metamorphoses, which brings out their internal awakening. The makers right defins the film, which is not a Love Story, but rather a story of love. So, what really goes inside would be interesting to explore.

Review

We can call Varun to be among the most bankable actors in B Town and his films like Judwaa 2 and others making huge business at the box office bears the witness to this. With October, he has something different to try, but will it work for him is the big question. On the face of it and as far as his performance is concerned he is for sure getting a good review for the film. The emotions expressed by the lead stars has been the key element of the film, which somewhere turns the USP of the movie. This reminds his film Badlapur wherein he has played with his wide range of emotions over the silver screen.

Shoojit Sircar is a competent filmmaker. His films are seen with novelty and uniqueness that sets him apart from the other usual filmmakers in the Bollywood. Unlike his previous films gaining rave reviews in the media, October will also make it in the list of his best film in the industry. He was successful in handling the script nicely. The film is all about Varun and remains too often one sided giving little space to the debutant actress Banita in it. Except the few scenes in the first half, the lady has not much to give in the second half. Soon you find the film becoming predictable, however, you would still like to catch the climax as it shapes up the best. Talking about the other elements like music, screenplay, direction, story, cinematography, and technical elements like editing and other things remained really at par, which somewhere helped to boost up the entertainment value of the film.

October – The final Word

The film October can keep the audience divided into two halves one would like it and the other won’t. The reasons are obvious, the way the film is made and the emotions of varied shades are handled but not all would love to catch such film. Though this film is technically competitive yet it may not be liked for getting less understanding of content dealt.
