Tapsee’s performance in Pink is memorable. But not many people know that before she was offered her first film Chashme Baddoor in Bollywood, she had already given many hits in Malayalam and Kannada films. Tapsee was basically born in Punjab and has typical Punjabi features and we know how exceptionally beautiful the diva looks. Tapsee’s Southern hits are Aadukalam, Araamban and Jumbandi Naadam.

We know by Tamannah’s surname that she is a Sindhi. She was born and brought up in Mumbai. After she appeared in few music videos and advertisements, Tamannah headed south and acted in various hit movies. Years later she once again made a fresh debut in Bollywood with the film Himmatwala.
- Charmy Kaur :
The cute Punjabi girl is quite popular in Tamil and Telugu films. Charmy is still waiting for an apt break in Bollywood although her films down south are fetching her much recognition.
- Bhumika Chawla :
This Punjabi born actress tried her luck in Bollywood many times. She recently appeared in MS Dhoni Biopic. Down south Bhumika has acted in much acclaimed films with all the super star actors.
- Jyothika Saravanan :
She is the sister of Southern superhit actress Nagma. Both the sisters ruled the Tamil screen at different points in their career. They are basically Punjabis. Jyothika after her successful career in Tamil films married actor Surya and settled down in Chennai.
