Nora Fatehi interrogated by Delhi Police over 200 crore money laundering case, denies link with Jacqueline Fernandez
Nora Fatehi is the next one to get the police’s attention after they summoned Jacqueline Fernandez in Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s 200 crore money laundering case. The investigation agencies are now exploring her involvement in the scam.
Delhi police’s Economic Offences Wing is now interrogating the actress and dancer as they called her to question on the case yesterday This all connects with jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s money laundering scam.
As per reports from ANI, they asked more than 50 questions to Nora Fatehi during the case inquiry. They asked about the gifts she received, her conversations, their meetup, and many more. She cooperated with the agency and told them that she has no link with Jacqueline Fernandez and that both their conversations with Sukesh occurred separately.
Nora also disclosed that she spoke to Sukesh’s wife for a nail art function and after that, they frequently called her. They also gifted her a BMW and other kinds of stuff. She claimed of being clueless about Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s criminal deeds and had no connection with the actress Jacqueline Fernandez in all this. Her conversations with Sukesh occurred rarely and it’s his manager & cousin who used to talk to him mostly.
The actress’ statement was first noted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002, section Section 50 in September and October 2021. At that time, she revealed that She got a booking for the charity event during which Sukes’s wife Leena Paulose gifted her a Gucci bag and an iPhone.
Talking about Jacqueline, the police accused her of being aware of the conman Sukesh’s criminal background. However, She still ignored them and enjoyed the gifts she received.
