Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal were in news last year for their separation followed by some shocking allegations they threw at each other.
While the two never spoke about it in the recent past. Now Nisha Rawal opened up and cried while recalling Karan Mehra’s love affair while speaking with another candidate Payal Rohatgi. Nisha was a part of Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor’s film Lock Upp. One of the first contestants to be revealed was her.
Nisha Rawal talked to Payal. She said that she sat down with Karan quietly and asked if he was having an affair. She said Karan acknowledged having an affair for the past seven to eight months, “I am in love with someone else and I am in love with you as well.” The actress became teary-eyed as she stated that her trust in him had been broken and that she could no longer have faith in him.
Nisha was consoled by Payal, who tried to cheer her up. She also said that despite the fact that everything was out in the open, he was still separating in a poor manner and refused to take responsibility for their kid, Kavish. Nisha said that she was made to feel as though she had produced Kavish all by herself. She emphasised, through tears, that she is strong and independent, and that she will raise Kavish on her own. She said that physical abuse can be healed, but emotional trauma is irreversible.
“After opening up to me about the affair, he would go, meet her and return to Mumbai. My mother who was living with me, I hid this even from her. I had to show my child everything was normal,” Nisha added.
She said she managed Kavish’s online classes wearing a bandage. She also talked about how people made fun of her injuries, claiming she had used ketchup.
Meanwhile, no comment has come from Karan Mehra.
