Nimrat Kaur to share screen with Amitabh Bachchan in Ribhu Dasgupta’s ‘Section 84!’
Nimrat Kaur’s dream has finally come true. The actress, who has bagged many awards and critical acclaim from critics as well as audiences over the years, has become a household name.
Now, Nimrat Kaur is set to be part of another big project. The actress is set to work with none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Nimrat broke the big news on social media. “To be immortalised on screen between action and cut with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is what this city has given to a small town girl with a very big dream. Gratitude to Ribhu Dasgupta for this supernal opportunity to collaborate on one of the most challenging creative adventures of my life. Let the sleepless nights begin!!!”

The courtroom drama thriller is written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta of Te3n and The Girl On The Train fame. Section 84 is presented by Reliance Entertainment in association with Jio Studios and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Film Hangar.
Recently, the makers of Section 84 also announced that Diana Penty and Abhishek Banerjee will also play the key roles in the film.
Kaur was most recently seen in Netflix’s “Dasvi” (2022), co-starring Abhishek Bachchan. Apart from ‘Section 84’, she also has few other projects in kitty including her highly anticipated social thriller ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’. The film is directed by National award winner filmmaker Mikhil Musale, and also stars Radhika Madan, Leena Sharma and Soham Majumdar. The social thriller is all set to hit the theatres on Teacher’s Day i.e., 5 September, 2023.
