Fighter on OTT: Hrithik Roshan Surpasses Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan with a 50% Higher Deal – Release Date and Streaming Details for HR-DP’s War Drama After 56 Days!

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s film “Fighter” has been performing decently at the box office, and while it continues its theatrical run, it has secured an impressive OTT deal. A major streaming platform has acquired the OTT rights to the war drama, reportedly at a staggering figure.

Last year, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” reportedly secured the biggest OTT deal, fetching a whopping 240-250 crore when sold to Netflix. This was followed by Prabhas’s “Salaar,” rumored to have bagged a deal of 160 crore for Netflix.

If reports are accurate, “Fighter” is set to surpass the OTT deal for “Pathaan,” which was sold to Amazon Prime Video for 100 crore. According to reports, “Fighter” has been acquired by a streaming giant for 150 crore, marking a significant milestone in the OTT landscape.

As for when and where to watch “Fighter,” the war drama, directed by Siddharth Anand, is set to release on OTT 56 days after its theatrical debut, making it available on OTT platforms from March 21, potentially serving as a pre-Holi treat for audiences. The film will be exclusively available on the streaming giant Netflix.

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, alongside Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Sanjeeda Sheikh, “Fighter” garnered attention for featuring the first-time pairing of the lead actors. Despite high expectations, the film did not perform as anticipated at the box office.

Receiving a rating of 7 on IMDb with 36K votes and achieving an 89% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes, “Fighter” has made an impact with its storyline centered around top IAF aviators uniting to form Air Dragons in the face of imminent danger. The film has garnered 206.50 crore in 24 days at the box office and is set to achieve a gross collection of 100 crore overseas, with a worldwide gross of 341.67 crore after 24 days.

With its impressive performance at the box office and the anticipation surrounding its OTT release, “Fighter” is poised to maintain its momentum as it continues to engage audiences both in theaters and on streaming platforms.
