Web series are not just turning out to be entertainer for the generation but, even web series aimed at creating national level awareness and safety regime are even getting trendy these days. previously, a web series aimed at educating children approaching adolescence was launched a and now the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is going to launch a new web series hoping to teach the kids about how to be safe while using the internet.
The organization is launching the web series titled, Into the Cloud, made up of 3 to 6 minute long episodes for the children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Research from Influence Central’s 2016 Digital Trends Study has shown that on an average, children get a cell phone at the age of 10. As per experts, this gives them more exposure to stay connected and thus, needs a lot of suitable education for them as well in terms of internet safety.
As per NCMEC, each episode of the series focuses on a different element of online safety. Some of the topics that the web series will be covering are cyber bullying and recognizing and reporting of unsafe/inappropriate interactions and content matters. It is believed that children are more prone to internet hazards and attacks as they don’t even have any idea as to what’s happening around. It is being strongly believed that this web series will be of great help in this regard.
The series will also contain a video game that goes along perfectly with it.
The first two episodes are already streaming and can be watched online.
