Director Puri Jagannath forced to leave his lavish Mumbai home due to ‘Liger’ failure?

Puri Jagannath, the Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Liger’ director, has thought of leaving his lavish Mumbai home as per alleged reports. He is planning to move back to Hyderabad and the reason for his departure is assumed to be the failure of his latest movie, ‘Liger’.

Several speculations about the director’s forced migration from Mumbai’s lavish sea-facing flat with a huge rental charge of 10 lakh rupees a month. Besides rent, Puri Jagannath also pays maintenance charges as per the reports from Gulte.com.

So the director will move back to his mansion in the upscale Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad if these reports are true.

‘Liger’ which casts Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda as the lead was knocked-out from the theatres. Despite grand promotions and star power backing up the film, it couldn’t make a good step due to the worst reviews from critics and audiences and negative word-of-mouth.

After the movie’s big flop at the box office, it has been stated that the entire team is looking for some other way to cover up the loss. They are all trying to give back the money that distributors and visitors lost due to the film’s disastrous run in theatres.

In the meantime, the failure of Liger has also adversely affected Puri Jagannath’s next project ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Rumours about the movie’s cancellation are also being heard. Only the director can provide clarification.
