Netizens brutally bash India’s Got Talent 9 makers for the ‘House On Fire’ act, “Best Comedy Show For TRP”

India’s Got Talent, the popular stunt-based reality show on television, is back for its ninth season. The show has been getting wonderful reviews for all the right reasons, with Shilpa Shetty, Kirron Kher, Badshah, and lyricist Manoj Muntashir on the judging panel. However, it appears that the producers of IGT 9 have had to deal with the wrath of social media users for allowing candidates to do a lethal challenge on stage this time. A new ad for the forthcoming episode of the show was recently released on the channel’s official social media account. Everyone’s attention has been drawn to the promo for all the wrong reasons.

The video begins with a competitor from India’s Got Talent being imprisoned inside the grass hut that has been built up on the IGT stage, while show crew workers light the house on fire. In the footage, one individual is seen attempting to get the other out of the house as smoke begins to seep into the hug. The judges, Shilpa Shetty and Badshah, appear horrified in the trailer when they see the lethal performance being performed on stage. However, Badshah is seen standing up from his chair shortly after to sound the alarm for the makers, requesting that they halt the deed.

Netizens were quick to criticise the creators for allowing this lethal act to perform on stage after the footage was uploaded on the channel’s official social media website. “What type of show is this?” a user asked India’s Got Talent 9 producers. “Best comedy programme for TRP,” says another in a cynical tone.
