The official trailer of Kasari, an upcoming Indian war drama film starring Akshay Kumar & Parineet, is finally out and received overwhelmed reaction from the audience.
Directed by Anurag Singh and co-produced by Karan Johar, the movie will depict the story of Havaldar Ishar Singh who participated in the battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.
Kasari is an interesting period drama that will take the audience to historical events of 1897 with a high dose of patriotism.
The story of the movie is revolving around the historical brave war in which 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army sacrifice their lives while combating with Afghan tribesman in the year. The movie is all slated to release on March 21, 2019.
According to Anurag Singh, he researched the subject for 25 years and was able to locate the families of the 21 martyrs.
The teaser of the movie was widely appreciated and within two hours of release, the trailer garnered over 4.5 lakh views on YouTube and almost 14 lakh combined views on Akshay and Parineeti Chopra’s Instagram profiles.
