Man Pretends to Be Akshay Kumar’s Representative, Attempts Rs 6 Lakh Scam: Reports

Recently, a man attempted to commit a fraud amounting to Rs 6 lakh by posing as a representative from actor Akshay Kumar’s production house. The accused, identified as Princekumar Rajan Anjanikumar Sinha (29), targeted Pooja Anandani (28), a social media influencer, and claimed to be associated with Cape of Good Films, Akshay Kumar’s production house.

Princekumar, pretending to be Rohan Mehra from Cape of Good Films, contacted Pooja and lured her with promises of a lucrative job within the production house. He even offered to arrange a professional photoshoot by a renowned photographer linked to film star Amitabh Bachchan. However, to make this supposed opportunity a reality, the accused demanded a sum of Rs 6 lakh from Pooja.

Suspecting that something was not right, Pooja decided to verify the authenticity of the claims made by the accused. She directly contacted Akshay Kumar’s production house and discovered that there was no employee named Rohan Mehra nor any ongoing recruitment process matching Princekumar’s assertions. Realizing that she was being targeted in a fraudulent scheme, Pooja wasted no time in reporting the incident to the authorities.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Juhu police acted swiftly and apprehended Sinha. It was revealed that Princekumar had fabricated details about an upcoming film project, falsely asserting that Pooja had been selected for a role. The accused went to great lengths, setting up multiple meetings with Pooja under the guise of organizing the photoshoot and finalizing the job offer.

Fortunately, thanks to Pooja’s vigilance and quick action, the fraud was prevented, and Sinha was taken into custody before any financial harm could be inflicted.
