Bachchhan Paandey: CBFC awarded U/A certificate but with THESE modifications!

Akshay Kumar‘s upcoming action comedy film Bachchhan Paandey is the most awaited movie for all. It stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

As per the report by Censor, the examining committee asked to be dropped three scenes from the Bachchhan Paandey. The scene is of slitting throat and boozing blood out. In another scene, the actor is stabbed and leading to a lot of bloodshed. The CBFC member felt that the violence in these scenes are frightful so the makers were asked to remove these frightful scenes from the movie. As per the report by Bollywood Hungama, Bachchhan Paandey is all cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The third cut is for a double meaning dialogue related to a banana. The CBFC asked the makers to reduce or modify the dialogue, a part of which is “Kabhi toh (kela) khaane ke liye bhi le liya kar”.

After these cuts, Bachchhan Paandey was awarded by U/A certificate. The duration of the movie is 2 hours and 29 minutes long. The movie is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Bachchhan Paandey hit the theatre on March 18. A trade expert said, “It releases on Holi and this will prove to be an advantage. Cinemas are running with no restrictions in most parts of the country. The film seems like an ideal masala entertainer and as a result, expect the film to create a dhamaka at the ticket window.”
