ZEE5 Drops Trailer for Psychological Drama Mithya – The Darker Chapter Starring Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani, Streaming This Diwali
ZEE5 has officially unveiled the trailer for its upcoming original series, Mithya – The Darker Chapter, a gripping psychological drama directed by Kapil Sharma and produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Rose Audio Visual Production. The series delves into the tumultuous relationship between two half-sisters, Juhi (portrayed by Huma Qureshi) and Rhea (played by Avantika Dassani), who find themselves ensnared in a web of revenge and retribution. Set to premiere on ZEE5 this Diwali, the show also features a talented supporting cast including Naveen Kasturia, Rajit Kapoor, Indraneil Sengupta, Avantika Akerkar, Rushad Rana, and Krishna Bisht.
The trailer immerses viewers in the intense psychological struggle between Juhi and Rhea. Juhi, basking in the success of her book “Dhund,” suddenly faces allegations of plagiarism from a mysterious writer named Amit Chaudhary (Naveen Kasturia). Meanwhile, Rhea is consumed by her desire to win their father’s affection, a pursuit that spirals into a dangerous game of manipulation and revenge. The series explores the theme of “blood versus blood,” as the sisters engage in deceitful tactics that blur moral boundaries and test their familial bonds.As the conflict escalates, the consequences become increasingly dire. Juhi’s relentless pursuit leads her to take extreme measures against Rhea, resulting in a dramatic role reversal.
The introduction of Amit’s character further complicates the sisters’ lives, adding layers of drama and intrigue to the narrative.
