The show’s creative head, Mukta Dhond, shared the first poster of season 5 on her Instagram account and it is going viral on social media. Fans are debating who to cast in the coming season.
Ever since Ekta Kapoor announced the closure of the fourth season starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Rashmi Desai, fans have been requesting to cast Hina Khan for the next season.
On May 28, the makers of Naagin 4 clarified that there were no budgetary constraints behind Rashmi Desai’s exit from the show. The show’s creative director Mukta Dhond said that they are coming up with a new story for this supernatural thriller. She told, “We are planning a complete change and hence, there is no truth in the fact that the makers have decided to remove Rashmi’s character due to her remuneration.”
In fact, producer Ekta Kapoor was filled with requests not to finish the season. She had to issue a video statement that she let actors Nia Sharma, Jasmine Bhasin and Vijayendra Kumeria go with the weak screenplay of Naagin 4. She promised to do something better with her talent.
She called everyone a brilliant actor and said that shows like Naagin 4 needed fluency and a tight screenplay. The producers made it clear that Rashmi Desai’s role in those two episodes would be considered in a special way, and that she would launch Naagin 5 after the lockdown. Ekta also admitted that the writing of the script of Naagin 5 has started and she also liked the story. She also apologized to Nia Sharma, Jasmine Bhasin and Vijayendra Kumeria for not correcting the script of Naagin 4.
Coming back to season 5, the title of Naagin 5 will remain the same but the storyline will change. The revelation behind the ‘Lal Tekdi Temple’ will eventually be shown and then the story will take a change.
