Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi on shooting after monsoon?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi film is in the news since the announcement. Its first look poster has Alia Bhatt in the lead and has also received appreciation from the audience. It was earlier reported that Alia Bhatt starrer would be the first film to go on floors after lockdown. However, it seems that there is bound to be a delay.

According to reports, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and some other big budget films require large scale outdoor shooting which is not possible mainly due to the onset of monsoon along with the threat of cyclone Nisarga on the west coast of India.

Reports also stated that an entire location of Kamathipura has been created for the film in Film City. They are reportedly huge sets and Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not someone who shoots his films in a hurry. He shoots his film till he is satisfied with everything.

The producers of the film are now waiting to see what kind of havoc the cyclone causes in Mumbai as the situation is still not very clear and will then move in this direction.

Recently, the government’s proposal received the approval of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and shooting of advertisements, shows and films was to begin in the next few days. However, it has stopped things from fear of the cyclone.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, there were reports on social media that Alia Bhatt is staying in lockdown with Ranbir Kapoor. The rumors started when Alia flaunted her new haircut while sharing a selfie she posted. The diva revealed that she was given this hair cut by a loved one.

Looking at Alia’s story, it appears that the diva is taking guitar classes during lockdown. Apart from this, Alia is also doing online creative writing course.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is awaiting the release of her next film ‘Brahmastra’ and is also set to start work in Karan Johar’s film ‘Takht’, in which she along with Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Vicky Kaushal, Alia will also be seen in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
