Prime Video announced today that the second season of Mumbai Diaries will premiere worldwide on October 6. The new season will follow the doctors, trainees, and staff of Bombay General Hospital as they deal with the aftermath of the terror attacks and their personal struggles, against the backdrop of the devastation brought by the Mumbai floods. The intricately woven narrative tells a gripping tale of human spirit and perseverance in the face of adversity.
The first season of Mumbai Diaries was a critical and commercial success, and the second season is highly anticipated by fans. Nikkhil Advani, the creator and director of Mumbai Diaries, is backed by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment as producers for this medical drama. The series reunites a highly versatile ensemble star cast from the previous season, featuring Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande, and Prakash Belawadi.
