Though the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story started with a meager buzz but as the days of its release is coming near, we hear good amount of buzz about the film in the media. Thanks to the promotion of the film and aura attached to the Indian skipper which makes all the difference. The makers of the film have decided to give the film a wider release with covering not less than 4500 screens worldwide.
To be more precise the number of nations in which the film releases is not less than 60, which is released in a number of languages including the south Indian languages like Telugu and Tamil. Besides, the film is also to hit in languages like Marathi and Punjabi though there was some opposition for the former, but things have settled now.
The makers have big plans for its release and the above said number of screens speaks volumes about their aspirations. In fact, as per the claims of the makers, it is the first time when any film has been released so wide considering the number of languages the film has been dubbed. So, considering the buzz, the first day box office collection will be around 5-7 crores in the local market, which will certainly escalate in the coming first weekend. And if count the collection world-wide the film is likely to cross 15 -18 crores on the first day itself and has the potential to enter the 100 crore club counting much on the word of mouth and other forms of promotions. The film is based on Dhoni the Indian cricket skipper and has Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.
