It’s been a week to see Tubelight releasing and considering its low impact over the box office, the filmmakers have released two other films, which include Mom and Shab. Now, let’s talk about the first film Mom, which has Sridevi in the lead role along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshay Khanna. The film happens to be a thriller drama movie helmed by Ravi Udyawar while produced by Boney Kapoor and others. Now let’s talk about the way it has created the buzz in the media particularly over the box office.
Well, as per reports, the first day box office collection for Mom toll to around 4 crores which is still a decent collection particularly when we see the promotions of the film at the lower side. The film happens to start with a meager start considering the fact the film has managed to create some amount of buzz in the media. However, with the increase of word of mouth buzz in the media one can expect some amount of surge in the coming first weekend for sure.
The other release is called Shab, which happens to be the romance drama thriller movie. The film is directed by Onir, while it produced by Sany Suri and Onir himself. The film witnesses the comeback of Raveena along with other actors for sure. The film started with a meager opening in the morning shows but it did witness some amount of surge in the afternoon and the evening shows, hence it witnessed a decent collection. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for Shab tolled to around 3 crores.
