Meghna Gulzar Breaks her Silence on Deepika’s JNU Visit

meghna and deepika

The visit to JNU by Deepika Padukone has been created a controversy for no reason as she had just visited to see the injured on the campus. This issue has led the fringe elements to boycott her film allowing them to promote Ajay Devgn’s starrer Tanaji:The Unsung Warrior in the media. This, however, has affected the film to some extent as the campaign against the film seems to be in rage.

It seems that the leggy lass’ solidarity expression is costing her as we can see people trolling her for no reason from left, right and center. On the other side, some people came up with the trend of asking ‘I Support Deepika’ on Twitter, which is also trending in social media. Now, we see the director of the film Chhapaak Meghna Gulzar breaking her silence on the visit of the diva in the JNU Campus. While talking about the same she said that its her personal choice and no one can dictate her.

She further said that people should be able to separate the personal and professional life and her visit to JNU was her personal choice and it has nothing to do with her professional life. She further added saying that it is important to think to give value to the idea of the film as to why they have made the movie and the message they are trying to give it. Comparing it with the other film Tanaji that released on the same, she said both the films are different and have different audiences.
