As we know Saqib Saleem plays the role of Mohinder Amarnath in Kabir Khan’s next film called 83, he has now shared his first look poster from the sports drama movie. The film has a slew of actors who play different players of the Indian Cricket Team that brought the World Cup for Cricket on June 83. Ranveer Singh Plays the captain Kapil Dev in it who has already impressed his fans in a big way.
We just saw Tahir Raj Bhasin showcasing the Sunil Gavaskar’s role in the social media and it was liked by many. Now, we see Saquib Saleem coming out with his first look poster for the character he plays for the film which is Monty or Mohinder Amarnath. Earlier, Saqib has played the role of a cricketer in the film Dishoom in 2017 playing the character of Viraj the Indian Cricket Skipper. Now, he is back with a similar character for the Kabir Khan directed movie. He has met the veteran cricketer during the shooting of Dishoom only and since then was impressed with him a lot. Hence when the role came to him for 83, he was quick to accept it. He said he was always fascinated with the stories of 1983 victory and thus loved to be the part of the film. The film has Deepika Padukone, Boman Iran, Tahir Bhasin and others, while it is all set to hit the screens on 10th April 2020.
