Synopsis:
The streaming giant Netflix is all set to bring out the web series Masaba Masaba on 28th August 2020. The series happens to be a biopic. It is the first season, which is directed and written by Sonam Nair. It is produced by Ashvini Yardi under her Production Company called Viniyard Films. The series has the mother-daughter duo – Masaba Gupta and Neena Gupta in the leading roles. While the others in the pivotal roles include Satyadeep Mishra, Rytasha Rathore, Neil Bhoopalam, Suchitra Pillai, Smaran Sahu, Tanuj Virwani, Gajraj Rao and Shibani Dandekar.
Talking about the series, it happens to be a scripted version of Masaba Gupta’s life. It features her personal and professional life. The ups and downs she has faced in her personal life apart from being a competent fashion designer in this tough market. We see both Masaba Gupta and her mother Neena Gupta playing the fictionalized versions of their own real life characters.
