Manoj Mishra is an actor, singer and production designer who is active in Odia and Hindi films. He hails from Sambalpur Orrisa and was born and brought up at this Indian state only. He did his schooling from his hometown and later after his college, he headed to Delhi joining National School of Drama to pursue his dreams to become an actor. He also studied in TV Institute of India and later headed to Mumbai to try big in the field of acting and singing. He is also good at singing, hence he tried in this field as well.
He got the chance to work in Bollywood movies getting smaller and supporting roles, which include Mission Kashmir and The Warrior. His ideal in B Town is Nana Patekar and loves to follow him. He also active in small screen and his first major break was the TV show called Behenein aired at Star Plus. He played a negative role, which was which was applauded by his critics and audience alike. He played the character called Shamaldas a hardcore criminal and later turned a decent and responsible person in the society.
His role and performance received much of the praises for which he also baggd the ’Naya Strong Sadasya Award’ at the Star Parivaar Awards. He also worked in several Odia films as an actor and tried playback singing as well. Some of the films in which he worked include the thriller film called Drishyam, Raavan of Mani Ratnam in 2010), Mangal Pandey: The Rising in the year 2005, Abhay 2017 and Bhaunri to name a few.
