The sudden death of Sushant Singh Rajput on 14th Jun has erupted the debate on nepotism in the Industry. Many actors were seen joining the debate, the recent one to join the same is the Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee. In his recent interviews with WION, he said the B Town celebrates mediocrity and neglects the talented people. The debate came into picture when Kangana Ranaut alleged that the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was not given due credit for the talents he had.
While talking about the same, the Aligarh actor said that the world is not fair, which he has been saying since past two decades which makes the industry celebrate mediocrity. He went on to say that it is not just the industry which celebrates mediocrity but the whole country does. Sushant passed away at the age of 34 as he was suffering depression. He had worked with Manoj with the film Sonchiriya. Manjo later said if you do not have talent then you need to have luck to sustain in the industry.
While talking about himself, Manoj Bajpayee said that he could only survive in B Town as he had thick skin. While talking about his films, he said, the movies of small budget are not promoted in the market properly and soon get pulled out from the screens.
