Manoj Bajpayee opens up on how his life has changed after The Family Man 2

The film industry went through an entire industry shift due to the pandemic, directly from theatres to OTT. Bollywood has now started releasing its mainstream films on OTT which has given a new lease of life to actors.

Manoj Bajpayee is one of them. He has received tremendous love for the first season of The Family Man and now the second season is receiving all the appreciation from audiences. Now the actor himself explains how his life has changed due to OTT platforms.

In the interview with Mid-Day, Manoj Bajpayee shares, “OTT has taken me to the generation that is growing up now. This generation was not really aware of my previous works. Now, 15- or 16-year-olds come to me, wanting a picture. That’s something I have not enjoyed before. The contribution of The Family Man to my career is that it introduced me to a new fan base.”

He also talked about how OTT has proved to be a more consistent medium for him as it gives a platform to portray different genres. Opening up on the success of The Family Man 2, he shared he is so happy to see the appreciation his costars are receiving from the audiences.

“I would say Samantha Akkineni is better than me on the show. As are Sharib Hashmi and Priyamani. It gives me a lot of happiness when Sharib and Priyamani get their share of appreciation. I was mesmerized by the amount of hard work Samantha put into the show,” he further added.
