The film Manmarziyaan happens to be a love story, which is set up in Punjab, India. It has all the elements including comedy and drama, which would be interesting to catch in the nearby cinema when it finally hits the theatres.
There are two interesting things about this film, which are worth catching up in this review. First of all, Junior Bachchan is doing his comeback after two years of gap while the director Anurag Kashyap is experimenting in something new genre which is a blend of comedy and drama. Though the filmmaker seems to be new in this genre in comparison to his films made previously, he has done a good job by keeping a fine balance between comedy and drama. The time to time punches and cool roller coaster ride of humor and drama in the film will leave you entertained while catching up the film. The script has all the elements that make an interesting blend to catch this weekend.
As you get entangled in the film, you would realize the beauty of the movie, which lies over the complexities of love and the visual depiction. One should understand the fact that three superlative performances and with one master director one can find a cool movie to catch. One of the best things about this film is the performance of the lead actors including Abhisheik Bachchan and Tapsi Pannu. Junior Bachchan is simply cool in his performance and has done justice to the fact that he has returned with extra force over the silver screen.
Tapsee Pannu is as usual superb in her performance and has given something the best in the B Town film. The others in the movie too have done a decent job while playing different characters in this film. The other elements like direction, screenplay, music, editing, photography and story, everything have worked perfect in a poise thus boosting up the entertainment value of the film in a big way.
