Shefali Shah and Kriti Kulhari starrer Humans was huge hit on OTT. The actors were very much appreciated for their amazing performance. Well, recently a source has just informed me that the director is soon going to come up with its season 2.
“Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah has been able to take the audiences into the world of the harsh reality of unethical medical trials on Humans. The Show was an eye-opener for a lot of us. This kind of subject is new for viewers and the stellar star cast and amazing direction by Vipul Shah made it even more interesting. The OTT platform Disney+Hotstar and Vipul Shah are already in talks for season 2 and they might announce the same in a few weeks from now. There might be a few additions in the starcast as the season 2 will be even bigger and interesting to watch,” a source was quoted saying.
Earlier, talking about her character in Human, Shefali Shah stated, “Working on a show like this has been one of the most gratifying experiences ever. It has been extremely consuming and exhausting and my character Gauri Nath is one of the most complex characters that I have played in my journey”.
When Shefali was asked if she is resisting to do the onscreen kiss, she said, “Like you have heard what Kirti said, I basically lost my virginity to Kirti because I have never kissed (on-screen) before. I’d probably have those apprehensions earlier but you know, I don’t see it as being difficult because it’s a woman. Because at that time, Saira and Gauri are in love. So, it’s just that. That emotion is paramount. It doesn’t matter. I don’t have my lineage towards the same sex but it doesn’t mean I don’t respect it, I don’t dignify it. So, at that moment, it was a true emotion that these two women felt. It didn’t even cross my mind, honestly.”
