Manisha Koirala has come a long way in battling cancer. This brought the lady to write a book on her journey. She launched her book called Healed in the presence of B Town celebrities. While talking to the media, she was posed a question about veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan who is diagnosed with a first stage cancer. She said that the actor-director would soon emerge as a winner against the menace called cancer. We know him fighting cancer in an emotional post at the social media when he informed that his father is suffering from squamous cell carcinoma, which is a kind of cancer.
Manisha has been a cancer survivor, and she said that there is always a way out to fight the dreaded ailment and considering it can help you become a winner. She was talking in her book launch event in Mumbai in the presence of Bollywood celebrities including Mahesh Bhatt, Imtiaz Ali, Anupam Kher, Deepti Naval, Amruta Fadnavis, Dia Mirza and Rekha. Talking about cancer, she said it proved out to be a gift to me to secure her life. She further stated that difficult times come only as our teacher. She then added that difficulties come to help everyone know about them.
She then said how she was traumatised when she first heard that she is diagnosed with cancer. She then said it helped her to get a new outlook towards her life and made her learn many things. She then said that it helped her to realise how vital is health and life to her. The past few months have witnessed a slew of actors in B Town becoming the victim of Cancer which includes Sonali Bendre, Irrfan Khan, Anurag Basu and now Rakesh Roshan. Also, we heard that Rishi Kapoor is also undergoing the treatment of cancer. She was talking about the same she said it’s not that the B Town celebrities only are getting cancer, but it is prevalent everywhere. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
