First Day Box Office Malaal and One Day Justice Delivered

It was a busy Friday for the B Town as we had two films releasing the same day, which includes One Day: Justice Delivered and Malaal. Let’s check how these two films have performed over the box office starting with the former. The Anupam Kher and Esha Gupta starrer thriller called One Day: Justice Delivered. The film had decent ratings, while the trailer released earlier helped the film to create a decent buzz in the media. Yet the film did face issues in performing on the box office on day one.

As per reports, the thriller opened up with an occupancy of 15 to 20 per cent and it went on increasing with the passing time moving to the highest. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection for One Day Justice Delivered is 3.5 Crores. The film faced tough competition from movies like Article 15 and Kabir Singh, which are still running in several screens. It is likely to soar in the first weekend, let’s see how things would move. Now, talking about the other film Malaal, it has proved to be a regretting film for the makers.

The film with newbies and having similar predictable story failed to go as per the expectations of the audience and hence a little crowd had turned up to catch the film. The occupancy report of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie remained all time low and it gave a narrow escape to the film. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Malaal went to around 1.25 Crores, which is low as per the expectations of the makers. All thanks to the low buzz of the film along with mediocre ratings by the critics. The collection would remain the same in the first weekend as well.
