Director Sameer Khan (An erstwhile assistant to Madhur Bhandarkar) debuts with his first ever Muslim Horror film titled Sheitaan. The film stars Bangladeshi superstar Nirab Hossain in the lead role along with Kavita Radheshyam and Iti Acharya (Miss South India 2016).
“Till date no Film maker showed Exorcism that takes place in Muslim community (Especially in Shia Muslims), This film deals with it. I am very much confident that my film will take Horror genre onto the next level.” said Sameer Khan.
Sheitaan is being written and produced by ‘Main Hoon Rajinikanth’ fame director Faisal Saif and Ali G. The film which also stars Pakistani actress Meera is said to tackle the conflicts between Shia and Sunni communities in Islam.
The makers plan to release the film in the month of April 2017.
