Lillete Dubey is an actress active in films, TV, and theatre. She was born on 7th September 1953 in Pune, which was the part of Bombay Princely State. She did her schooling in a couple of schools in different cities like Carmel Convent in Delhi, St. Mary’s in Pune, while her graduation from Shri Ram College Delhi where she did her graduation and PG in English and Mass Communication from Delhi University. She then got linked to the theatre group to do a couple of plays in Delhi and then headed to Bombay. However, she got married in 1978 and thus got the break from her acting career.
It was like an on and off kind of things for her life when it turned to act, but finally, in 1997 she got her first break in films with the TV show called Kabhie Kabhie. She then got her first film called Love You Hamesha in 1999 and since then it was no looking back for the lady. Since then it was no looking back for the actress as she kept on getting several films like Zubeidaa, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Monsoon Wedding, Om Jai Jagadish, Kitne Door… Kitne Paas, Chalte Chalte, and Pinjar to name a few.
Some of her other films include Kal Ho Na Ho, Vanity Fair, Lakshya, Morning Raga, Main Aisa Kyo Hoon, Dosti Friends, Forever, Delhi in a Day, The Best Exotic Marigold sizzlingel, I Am 24, Dabba, Corporate, One By Two, Dr. Cabbie and Bhaiyyaji Superhit. Some of her recent movies include Desi Magic, The Second Best Exotic Marigold sizzlingel, Aksar 2, A Million Rivers, 3 days to go, Sonata, and Purana Pyaar a short film.
