After making his name in Telugu Cinema, Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his Bollywood debut. According to a report In Bollywood Hungama, Naga has been roped for an important role in Aamir Khan’s Most anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha. The film, which is an official remake of Tom Hanks’ classic Forrest Gump and also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan is in news for quite some time now.
“Otherwise why would Naga agree to make time for a Hindi film when he is so busy down South? In fact he has been shooting for a film even now during lockdown. Like his father Nagarjuna , and his wife Samantha Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya has no craving for Bollywood. The only reason Naga agreed to do a Hindi film at this point of his career was that he liked the role,” SpotboyE quoted a source as saying.
The report also says that Naga neither denied the development nor agreed to it. He however chose to stay silent. A few days back it was reported that Naga will join the cast of Laal Singh Chaddha in Ladakh for a grand war sequence.
Chaitanya Naga was also quoted as saying, “It’s better any kind of news regarding the project comes from the production house directly.”
The actor was earlier working with Raashi Khanna in Italy on a rom-com titled Thank You. However after the Italian government stopped Indians from flying into Italy, the makers had to stop the shoot. The actor claimed that they are going with the plan. “Our shooting of Thank You has not been canceled. It is going on as per schedule here in Italy. We are taking all precautions and following the Covid guidelines strictly,” Naga Chaitanya cleared the air.
Meanwhile, Aamir khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan had hired Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff’s War action director Parvez Shaikh to shoot the war sequences for the film.
