Kushal Tandon is an actor and model who hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 28th March 1985 in Lucknow and was raised in a family of a politician – Lalji Tandon. He did his schooling from Scindia School, Gwalior and later went on to pursue his college from Hans Raj College, New Delhi. Since his early days, he liked to be the part of modeling and thus he tried his luck in Grasim Mr. India contest in 2005 and emerged as the first runner-up. He then headed to the US to pursue his course in acting and filmmaking.
After returning to India, he headed to Mumbai to start his career in the field of acting. He then got the chance to enter into a small screen getting the role of Virat Singh Vadhera in the serial called Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai in 2011. He worked for the show till 2013 and then joined Bigg Boss 7 and Evicted on Day 95. He also participated in Nach Baliye 5 with Bulgarian Model and actress Elena Boeva.
He then was seen in a couple of TV shows including 14 Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 but had to leave due to an injury in 2014. This followed by yet another TV show called Beyhadh playing Arjun Sharma in 2016. He then was seen in the web series called Hum – I’m Because of Us playing Rahul Nanda. Talking about his personal life, he was in a relationship with Gauahar Khan when he was in Bigg Boss, however, the two broke off after dating for one year. Talking about awards, he has bagged the Indian Telly Awards for Best Fresh New Face (Male) for the show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai in 2012 and 2017 got the Lions Gold Awards for the Best Actor category for the show Beyhadh.
