Kuch Kuch Locha Hai Movie Review : A naughty comedy with full laugh riot

kuch kuch locha hai review

This Friday, you have a couple of movies, which certainly include the sex comedy – Kuch Kuch Locha Hai. Though the movie was titled Patel Rap, however, it changed to the current one considering the kind of content the film carries. The movie has the hot Sunny Leone, Ram Kapoor in the main lead, while Evelyn Sharma and Navdeep Chabbar are seen in supporting roles. The movie is directed and written by Devang Dholakia, while it is produced by Mukesh Purohit Under the platform of Pictures and Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Navdeep Chabbar will be doing his debut with this sex comedy. The trailer releasing last week, was able to garner a whopping million views in just two days. Now, how about entering into the film to get the right picture as under:

Kuch Kuch Locha Hai Review The Story Plot

Meet Miss Shanaya one of the leading stars of Bollywood known for her huge fan following played by Sunny Leone. She has a trip to Malaysia to promote her film wherein she is supposed to a meet a lucky winner at his or her residence. Now, you have a Gujju businessman called Praveen bhai played by Ram Kapoor. He is a big fan of this hot and sizzling lady called Shanaya. He also fills the form and enters a couple things, which aren’t true about his profile including his marital status as well. Fortunately, he is the one who wins this competition and you have Shanaya coming in his home. Praveenbhai now slyly maneuvers his family members out of his place simply to welcome his (secret) crush – Shanaya. As she visits, they turn good friends and she is a regular touch just to learn Gujarati language for her upcoming character in a challenging role in Bollywood. They embark with an eternal kind of Locha based relationship. Amidst this, Praveenbhai’s son called Jigar played by Navdeep Chhabra is seen extending his support to the scene, simply to have some time with his lady love played by Evelyn Sharma, while the movie simply becomes a locha full laugh riot.

Kuch Kuch Locha Hai Review : Star Performances

Starting with Sunny Leone in the character of Shanaya, she seemed gorgeous and equally hot in most of the sequences. She has less to deliver in terms of skills over the silver screen and much skin to expose. After all, her porn star status has simply made a sex symbol in Indian Cinema, which is likely to stay for long unless she does some intense character based films. In other words, she is only good in showing her skin rather than her acting. Ram Kapoor is incredibly talented but has failed to portray his talents with the said character of Praveen Patel. He was seen with poor dialogue silvery and dull screenplay. On the contrary, Navdeep Chabbra who is playing his son’s character called Jigar did a decent performance much better than any other actor in debut would do, similar is the story of Evelyn Sharma. But one man that was fabulous is Mehul Buch who despite the small screen presence went mind blowing.

Kuch Kuch Locha Hai Review : The Technical Side

Degang Dholkia is not known to have directed a number of movie, however, with Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, he might prove some of his presence in the industry mainly because it’s a sex comedy, which carries the hot and sizzling Sunny Leone. Though Sunny may not be covered to get rewards for her performance but would certainly be referred all the time for her bold avatars in different films and KKLH is no exception. The script isn’t that strong to hold water for the audience, however, it’s the scorching heat that Sunny creates may keep the ball rolling. You may find the film starting up with a decent note, however, as time passes by, film turns very much perplexing. Perhaps the director was more focusing over the Lochas the film encompasses rather than his dexterity to give incredible movie. His efforts to join different dots (stories) simply seen falling flat on the ground and thus losing plot is an inevitable phenomenon, however, that too so early wasn’t really expected by him. The pranks cracked at various junctures were too stale to see any laughter from the audience, while similar was the story of screenplay, which remained below average. Now talking about the other technical sides like Cinematography, again it failed to impress the audience. The only element, which worked for the film is its music.

Kuch Kuch Locha Hai Review Last Word

Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is essentially a spicy, sex comedy comprising of an unconventional lead pair – Sunny & Ram Kapoor. The title of the film is its essence, which is enunciated via this title without giving much about the story of the film. Though it promises a number of hilarious lochas, but in its depth these are most obsolete and stale jokes to enjoy. Pitted with several technical errors, the film has very limited stuff to cater, which is nothing but the skin show. In fact, this very element seemed hampering the other elements too, which can make things bad for the film.
