Plot:
Shuddhi is a forthcoming Bollywood film, whose producer is the well known Karan Johar. This movie is being produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and Karan Malhotra is its director. The lead actor of this movie is proposed to be Salman Khan, the superstar, who is known to draw audiences to the theaters like a magnet. It was later confirmed by Karan that it is Salman who would be playing the movie’s lead role for this ambitious project. Salman is slated to be paired with Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood heartthrob, who has been a successive stint for the last few years and winning several awards for her wonderful acting.
Shuddhi is considered to be a big scale reincarnation themed love story that has been weaved in a dramatic way. Previously, the lead role was supposed to be Hrithik Roshan, but later on was dropped from it. The inclusion of Salman Khan is definitely wonderful news for his fans, since they wait in eager for his latest action ventures for which he is now more famous. It is indeed a wonderful surprise to know and hear of Salman’s involvement in this movie and pairing with Karan. According to reliable sources, Salman was said to have demanded about Rs. 150 crore for this movie. Initially, Salman had enquired for entire first week collection worldwide as his fees. The next thing he asked for was 40% of satellite rights to Shuddhi. Finally, from accrued profits, he is to get 20% and Dharma to get 80%.
Earlier it was supposed to be Kareena Kapoor, who was slated to be the lead heroine for this movie, but, later it was Deepika Padukone, who replaced her. The actor is said to have been impressed with the title and the story. Shooting for this movie is to be conducted in Hrishikesh, Uttrakhand and Mumbai.
