Krushna Abhishek teases Alia Bhatt to marry Ranbir Kapoor, says ‘Vicky ki zindagi achchi Katrina’
Alia Bhatt appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show on Sunday, with director SS Rajamouli and her co-stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR to promote their upcoming film RRR. as the actress came on the show comedian Krushna Abhishek, didn’t miss the chance to tease her about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.
Krushna, who was dressed up as his character as Sapna, told Alia that he is a huge fan of hers. He expressed his admiration for her film, Kapoor and Sons, and inquired as to when the sequel will be out. When host Kapil Sharma questioned what sequel he was referring to, Krushna said, “Kapoor and Bahus,” which made Alia laugh too heard.
Krushna stated that he wanted Alia and Ranbir to be the next Bollywood pair to marry, referring to the recent Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif wedding. “Nahi, mera matlab abhi Vicky ki zindagi achchi Katrina. Toh bas aap hi ke liye wait kar rahe hai (No, I mean, Vicky is enjoying life with Katrina. So we are all just waiting for you). But God bless you,” he said, leaving her in stitches.
Vicky and Katrina married on December 9 at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, following a two-year secret relationship.
Ranbir was asked about his wedding date last month at an event in Delhi to premiere the motion poster for Brahmastra. He read out loud a chit carrying a fan’s question:“When will you marry Alia or someone else?”
“Well, haven’t we seen a lot of people getting married in the last one year? I think we should be happy with that. Humari kab hogi (When will ours happen)?” Ranbir said.
When Alia asked as to why he focused the question to her, he stated that he was asking about their Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji, who answered, “Aaj ke liye ek hi date kaafi hai (The announcement of one date is enough for today), Brahmastra ki release date. Let’s wait.”
Meanwhile, Brahmastra also stars Amitabha Bachchan, the film is set to hit the theatres on September 9.
