If industry rumors hold true, Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is officially underway, almost two decades after the beloved satirical comedy first premiered in 2006. The original film, featuring a stellar cast including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Navin Nischol, Pravin Dabbas, Tara Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, and Vinay Pathak, received widespread praise for its quirky yet authentic depiction of middle-class Delhi’s fight against corruption and real estate scams.
A recent report from Pinkvilla reveals that the sequel is now actively being developed, with Umesh Bisht and his team leading the scripting and casting process. A source close to the project shared, “The Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 script is finalized and the team is currently casting. They aim to kick off filming by November this year, targeting a 2026 release.
Like the original, this film promises to be a full-fledged comic entertainer.”One of the biggest updates is the addition of actress Huma Qureshi to the cast. The insider noted, “Huma has joined the project as one of the lead characters. She loved the script after hearing it. The film is expected to be produced by T-Series, with production details currently being finalized.”Huma Qureshi has been expanding her creative horizons recently. Along with acting, she has launched a production company with her brother and fellow actor Saqib Saleem.
“Huma’s production house is gearing up to release its first film, Baby Do Die Do, soon,” the source added.
