KGF 1st Day Box Office Collection

Today, we have two releases, which include the South Indian starrer Yash film called KGF. The film had good reviews by most of the critics and had a good buzz in the media. The film was released in 400 screens in South India and was released in all the four South Indian languages – Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu apart from release in Hindi. The film remained the most awaited one by the audience for its ensemble star cast, good content and fiercely action drama movie. Also, the reviews have been good that helped to create a decent buzz on day one of its releases.

The film opened with the occupancy of 50 to 60 percent in the South Indian cities both in the single screens and multiplexes. The response in the theatres have been good as most of the screens recorded the occupancy of around 100 percent. The buzz for the film is so huge that the makers have even allowed screening the film even after the midnight of the first day. As per reports, the last show will be at 4 am in Bangalore. The movie has scheduled 500 shows in Bangalore alone, which is a tangible figure.

Thus in Bangalore alone, the film has managed to pump 4 crores and similar is the story in other south Indian cities. As per reports, the 1st-day box office collection for KGF is around 20.20 crores, which is a good figure. The budget of the film is 50 crores, which is expected to recover on the very second day of the release. With the current buzz and word of mouth fuss about the film, KGF is expected to gain around 65 to 70 crores on the first weekend. And in another two days, the makers are expected to enter into the 100 crore club. Since the film was also released in the US and other overseas location, the collection in the USA is recorded as 40 lakhs.
