For the B Town, it is one film release this Friday that comes in the form of Akshay Kumar starrer movie Kesari. The Anurag Singh directed a film and produced by Karan Johar, Isha Ambani, and Twinkle Khanna under the banners of Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment and Cape of Good Films, respectively is all set to hit with an average buzz in the media. However, some amount of buzz in the media was created after the release of the trailer, yet it failed to impress the masses in a big way. Only the Akshay Kumar fans liked it and can turn up to catch the film.
The plot of the film is too old to attract making it a niche film based on the war taking you in a history of a pre-British era when the country was unorganized but united against the enemy to drag them out the country. With a low buzz in the media, the film may not be able to collect a huge amount at the box office. Also, with a high budget of 200 Crores, the trade pundits are concerned whether the makers would be able to recover the cost or not.
Also, there seems to be a problem in promoting the film as nothing much was done to promote the film and create a buzz in the media to attract the audience. So, at the end of the day, the collection would be meager. As per reports and experts, the 1st-day box office collection for Kesari would be around 3-5 Crores at the box office, which will boost to some extent in the coming days during the first weekend. The Saturday and Sunday would collect not less than 12 crores, and the total collection would reach around 15 to 16 crores the max. Well, let’s see how things would prevail, but as of now, the collection wouldn’t be that rosy to celebrate.
