Last Friday, you had two movies hitting theatre, which included the social drama called Kaun Kitne Paani Mein. The film starring Kunal Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Radhika Apte. The film is all about water and the scarcity of the same along with the politics, which surrounds the controversy. Though the film is found out to be rich in content, but lacks in other ways, which makes the film week before the mighty promoted film Phantom from Kabir Khan. Kaun Kitney Paani Mein is niche film, which means it is not meant for everyone. Also, the promotion seems to be at low note, which makes the film down.
As per reports, the film at the end of its first week could hardly get much collection. As per reports, the first week box office collection for Kaun Kitney Paani Mein tolled around 6 crores, which is not much collection. Yet comparing to its budget and other things, the collection for the film seems to be decent. Now, with movies like Welcome Back coming to picture this Friday will be doing the rest of the damage, hampering in a big way. Hence, you cannot expect much from the film in terms of collection. Rest will be occupied by Phantom this week.
