Amidst the buzz for the action thriller Baaghi 3, we had one more release yesterday with Kaamyaab starring Sanjay Mishra. The film hit the screens with huge competition from Baaghi 3 action film. Despite getting good reviews the film did garner an average response as expected. The film is presented by Shah Rukh Khan as it is produced under his own banner called Red Chillies Entertainment. The film can be called a niche movie as it talks about a story of a side hero who struggles to get his 500th film.
The movie is low in terms of star value hence to expect a high opening was next to impossible. Also, when we talk about the promotions, it seemed dull and little did it collect the buzz in the media. Well, with these issues, the film was expected to collect less at the box office. As per reports, the occupancy in the morning shows were around 10 to 20 per cent, while in the evening it did go up reaching to 30 to 40 per cent. Thus, with these figures, the first-day box office collection went to around 1.2 Crores.
Similar would be the story on the first weekend as well since the film is facing tough competition and it has barely any buzz in the media which can bring in the masses to the film. Secondly, the film has an interesting story though but not that impressive to call one and all for the film. Hence one can expect around 3.5 Crores the max as its first-weekend box office collection.
