Karan Johar threw a star studded bash for Netflix Global TV Chief Bela Bajaria, Alia, Ranveer, Sara arrives in style
Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions, threw a party for Netflix Global TV Chief Bela Bajaria. It was a star studded affair and many A-listers were seen arriving at the party.
The bash was held at Karan’s Mumbai house, the paparazzi spotted Madhuri Dixit and her husband Shriram Nene, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar and his wife Shibani Dandekar, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Manish Malhotra, and Ritesh Sidhwani.
While superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s car was also seen arriving at the venue, but the back seat was completely covered with a black cloth, obscuring any view of the actor. However, this isn’t the first time the actor has refused to be photographed by paparazzi. When he arrived at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding reception, the back seat was hidden behind black curtains. He was also spotted at the airport with his wife, interior designer Gauri Khan, but he hid his face there as well.
Alia looked stunning as she wore a blue outfit to Karan’s party, while Ranveer wore a printed shirt and blue denims. Sara Ali Khan was seen in a yellow dress, while Kriti wore a red outfit. Farhan and Shibani dressed in black, while Ananya wore a white corset. Madhuri and Manish also chose to dress in black.
Meanwhile, Karan is working on his next film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi star in the film. Earlier Karan has announced that the film will be released on February 1st of next year.
Besides Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranveer has Jayeshbhai Jordaar from YRF, Shankar’s remake of his blockbuster Anniyan, and Cirkus from Rohit Shetty. Alia on the other hand is also working on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with husband Ranbir Kapoor, which is set to be released on September 9.
While Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey are working on Gaslight. She will also appear in Laxman Utekar’s upcoming untitled film, opposite Vicky Kaushal. Ananya Panday’s next film will be Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, in which she will co-star with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
