If you like comedy then you certainly knows this man called Kapil Sharma. Kapil Sharma is a badshah of standup comedy apart from being a singer and TV anchor. Considering his popularity as a standup comedian, he was in the list of 100 celebrities in the year 2013 of Forbes. He was ranked at the 96th position in the said list. He hails from Amritsar, Punjab, and was born and brought up at this place in a non film or creative field background. He did his schooling from Amritsar Government school and participated in different plays and cultural event. Known for his presence of mind and wit, he was also seen trying comedy, which really helped him to reach out to this level of standup comedy.
Now, let’s check his career graph. He started comedy with the show called Chhote Miyan and the other called Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in its sixth season telecast over the channel called Colors. He then headed to Comedy Circus Ke Superstars winning a couple of its series. He was the top class performer in stand up comedy over Comedy Circus a popular comedy show at Sony TV wherein he won all the titles along with different characters. He then got the chance to appear as a comedian in different award shows and programs held both in India and abroad. He was even offered a Yash Raj Comedy Film called Bank Chor, however, due to his busy schedule at Colors, he had to leave it in between. However, he is again offered another film, which he is accepted by him, which is scheduled to be shot next year. This year he was awarded with Star Guild Award as the top comedian.
