Kangana Ranaut has become one of the biggest admirers of RRR director SS Rajamouli. The 80th Annual Golden Globes Awards 2023 was a star-studded affair, with various popular personalities gathering in Beverly Hills on January 11 to attend the prestigious event. Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR won the best song award for Naatu Naatu defeating Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
While we saw celebs from the industry showering love on the RRR team for their win, actress Kangana Ranaut has another reason to praise SS Rajamouli. It seems like she is highly impressed by his dressing sense. She shared his picture from the event on her social media and expressed pride in the dhoti drape worn by the filmmaker.

The actress went online on Instagram to share a story in which she posted the director’s photo with MM Keerwani at the Golden Globes Awards 2023. We could see him wearing a red dhoti-kurta along with a red-coloured dupatta. In the caption, she wrote, “APART FROM THE GOLDEN TROPHY, THIS PROUD DISPLAY OF INDIAN AESTHETICS IS EYE-CATCHING. NEVER THOUGHT THAT DHOTI DRAPE WOULD EVER MAKE IT TO THE INTERNATIONAL RED CARPET…THANK YOU, SIR.”
For those who are unaware, RRR actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR were also present at the award ceremony. This isn’t the first time Kangana is praising the RRR director, and she has often been spotted uttering praise for him. At the time of RRR’s success at the box office, she had stated, “SS Rajamouli sir has shown that he isn’t just an amazing Indian film director of all time, but also a humble human being as an artist with his simplicity and immense love for the country and religion.” She also called him her role model.
Let us tell you, RRR, which was released in theatres on March 25, 2022, managed to gross a whopping Rs. 500 crores at the box office. It also won several awards due to the excellent work done by the entire team.
